Evelyn and Howard Drinkwater

Education Fund

Evelyn and Howard Drinkwater cared about the future of our youth at FPC and made provisions in their estate for the establishment of a scholarship fund. The fund was established for the purpose of offering undergraduate scholarships to young men and women of First Presbyterian Church.
The Drinkwaters created this scholarship fund as a legacy to their love of Jesus Christ, His church, and young people. Contact the church office or Christian Education Department to obtain an application.

Jon LaFontaine Scholarship Program for 2019

The Men’s Fellowship voted to start a scholarship program for students wishing to receive vocational training. This program is for traditional and nontraditional-aged men and women interested in learning skills that will allow them to move into the current employment market. The assistance will take the form of a grant to pay toward tuition, books, and/or lab expenses. Instructions may take the form of hands-on learning as at WTC or online courses targeting a vocational skill. A grant of up to $250 will give preference to members of our church community. If this program is of interest to you, please contact Ron Embling at 419-6486.
